Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Scoutlane uses information in its private product research and decision-support workflows.
1. About Scoutlane
Scoutlane is a standalone product operated by YS Fashion Group and used as a private internal product research and decision-support tool for e-commerce. It helps authorised users review information from connected services and make their own product and marketing decisions.

2. Information that may be accessed
When an authorised connection is enabled, Scoutlane may access data needed for the connected shop’s research and reporting, including:
- Google Ads account and campaign information;
- advertising and product performance metrics;
- search-term or keyword-related information where the relevant Google service and account access permit it; and
- identifiers and configuration information required to associate authorised data with the correct connected shop.
Scoutlane may also process product, supplier and e-commerce information supplied by or available to the authorised user. This public information site does not itself connect visitors to private shop, advertising or research data.
3. How Google data is used
Google data is used for read-only analysis, reporting, product research and relevant search-term or marketing analysis for the connected shop. It is not used for unrelated purposes, sold, or presented as a guarantee of commercial performance.
Scoutlane only accesses Google data after an authorised user completes the relevant connection and grants the requested access.
4. Access and disclosure
Access to the private Scoutlane application and connected data is restricted to authorised users. Scoutlane does not sell Google user data. Information may be handled only as necessary to operate the authorised research workflow or where disclosure is legally required.
5. Your control
A user can revoke Google account access through their Google Account’s third-party connections or by removing the relevant authorisation in Google. Once revoked, Scoutlane can no longer obtain new information through that authorisation.
A request to disconnect a linked account or delete data held for a connected shop can be made to the Scoutlane operator at ysfashiongroup@gmail.com.
6. Retention and security
Scoutlane retains connected information only as needed for its authorised internal research and reporting workflows. This policy does not state a fixed retention period because a verified period has not yet been established for publication. Access is limited to authorised users; no broader security certification or technical guarantee is claimed here.
7. Google API Services User Data Policy
Scoutlane’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Updates
This policy may be updated when Scoutlane’s integrations or data practices change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version.
